Concerning Continuing Competency Requirements For Administrators Of Assisted Living Facilities.

The bill requires an operator of an assisted living facility to ensure that the administrator of the facility completes 30 credits of continuing competency every 2 years. The operator must maintain records on the facility premises as proof of the fulfillment of the competency requirements. The department of public health and environment is required to promulgate rules concerning the competency requirements.
